I did not start my real estate career as salesman. I worked for several years buying, selling, remodeling, flipping, and renting properties for myself and investment partners. To be a successful investor, rehabber, and landlord I learned the real estate business from the outside in. My experiences, education and training taught me how to evaluate, negotiate, buy, repair, manage, market and sell homes for the financial benefit of myself, my family and my partners.
I learned early on that many Realtors and agencies were not interested in my unique needs as an investor. Many just did not understand the concepts of cash flow and return on investment. "Win-win" was not an integral part of their sales strategy. They tended to focus on the immediate sale and commission while ignoring future implications.
My frustration with the "status quo" Realtor led me to obtain my real estate licenses. Initially, I was primarily interested in the education and access to market data that was only available to Realtors. However, I soon realized that I could provide a higher level of real estate service to the public by applying my investing, rehabbing, and property management experience to real estate sales.
I believe that every client is unique and that any real estate transaction must address those unique needs. I believe every transaction, even a primary residence, is an investment and I strive to maximize your return on your investment. I believe every deal should be win-win for all parties.
There are many qualities and skills that go into being an excellent real estate agent – integrity, in-depth community and market knowledge, marketing savvy, effective negotiation skills and a high-quality professional network, all of which are hallmarks of how I work.
